Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

How happy is the blameless Vestal's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind! Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd.

This Quote is by Alex Pope who wishes to express something about a 'nun' who sacrifies worldly pleasure in service of GOD. The world forgets her. He poise her to have an eternal sunshine inside her mind with no spots of love, relationship or attachments. GOD accepts her all prayers while she herself has resigned worldly pleasures.

The other way to look at it is to be blameless is to also be empty, meaningless and blank, without the weight of choice and consequence. The liberty of the lack of responsibility is naturally also the restraint of having "each wish resign'd". If we want only what we're given - is that happiness ?

It's interesting that what I got out of the movie was a strong theme of personal authenticity and self-determination. And ironic also that in that self-determination came a strange theme of fate, of "liking someone and not knowing why, just because".

Almost as if our preferences came through more strongly than our choices or past choices, and that almost inevitably, we end up falling for the same person, for the same type of person, we look for things that remind us of that one true love we almost seemed to have used to know.

Salute to Martyrs

Once again terror attacks has taken alot of lives but this time these lives will leave a impact on heart of India. These sacrifices will make new india. India with people having the heart and courage to retaliate, People with willingness to be intolrent towards terrorism. The loss of top police officials have shocked my country in a way never happened earlier. Sunshine seems to fade away. Taj's bloodspots are stained at everybody's hearts and lives.

This attack has made us think beyond trauma, fear and terrorism. Today India's Youth has to think on where we are heading ? What makes enimity so extreme as to end lives of innocents ? What makes these deadly inhuman people think themselves as deciders of other's fate ?

Let's us all pray to God to provide eternal peace to souls of all those killed in this deadly massacre.
